The youth groups of Calhoun, Charleston and Tasso United Methodist churches will sponsor a gospel singing and supper Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Calhoun UMC.

Special singing will be provided by the Charleston Community Gospel Choir, which has been singing locally for the past two years.

The youth groups will be providing special music during the service also.

The singing will be followed at 6:45 p.m. by a hamburger/hot dog supper with all the trimmings. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.

Proceeds from the evening will be used to help sponsor the combined youth mission trip this summer to Jacksonville, Fla., where church youth will work at a day camp for deaf and blind children.

Calhoun UMC is located at 820 Hwy. 163, Calhoun.
