Dorothy Lee Nichols Glover, 92, of Cleveland, passed away Friday May 21, 2010, in a local health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Melinda Lively Nichols and William Nichols.

Her husband, Richard Wesley Nichols, sons: Ray and Billy Glover and Jimmy Davis; son-in-law, Lewis Hayden, sisters: Frances Rogers, Pearlie Wright and Rachel Nichols and brother, Johnny Nichols, also preceded her in death.

She was retired from Hardwick Mills and enjoyed working in her flower garden, quilting and animals.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include daughters: Faye Cooley and her husband Bobby, and Betty Hayden, all of Cleveland, Brenda Beshears and her husband Billy of Riceville; grandchildren: Julie Hayden Presley, Richie Glover, Lesley McDermott, Mark Beshears, Daniel Beshears, Billy Beshears Jr., Michelle Price, James Davis, Joy Davis and Darrell Davis.

Fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday May 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Lake Walker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Charleston Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. A white dove release will conclude services.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes, who has charge of the arrangements.
