Jack L. Bishop, 80, a resident of Cleveland went home to be with the Lord Sunday evening, May 23, 2010, in a local hospital.

He was the son of the late Barshie Cavett Bishop and Lawrence Bishop. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Lee and Gene Bishop: sisters: Hester Taylor, Alice Lawson, Mary Lou Rayburn and Edith Goodner.

He was a Nascar fan and enjoyed watching game shows and ballgames.

He was a charter member of Trinity Chapel.

Survivors include his son, Pastor Ronald Bishop and his wife, Peggy, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Ronelle Bishop Ruettiger of Nashville, Gabriel Bishop of Cleveland and Hayley Bishop Bonner and her husband, Nathaniel, of Cleveland; ex-wife, Irene Bishop of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Guinn Green and the Rev. Steve Sherlin officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Larry Bishop, Mark Bishop, David Bishop, Havard Still, John Wooten, Bobby Rayburn and Anthony Bishop serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the hour of the service at 7 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
