The Cleveland Express Track Club is now accepting registrations for the 2010 track and field season. The club is open to all girls and boys ages 5-18 interested in track and field, running and athletics.

The Cleveland Express has several athletes qualify for national competition every year and the club teaches the fundamentals of track and field with an emphasis on fitness and fun.

Registration and practice begin Monday at 6 p.m. at the Bradley Central High School track complex. The cost is $75 per child which covers the athlete's uniform, AAU card and entry into the first meet.

“We are one of the least expensive programs around,” Coach Larry Cotton said. “Similar programs in Knoxville and Chattanooga range from $120 to $150 per athlete.”

The Cleveland Express also does fundraisers to help offset the cost of the program and travel expenses.
