Deborah Edwards, 58, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 30, 2010.

She passed away in a local hospital with her loving family and many friends by her side after a four-year battle with cancer.

She was a devout Christian and attended Cleveland Christian Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Ruth Elliott.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Edwards of Cleveland; father, Cletis R. Elliott; sons: Eric Miller and Monte Miller, both of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Andrea Lance and husband, Trent, of Dahlonega, Ga.; stepdaughter, Elisha Edwards of Winchester; brothers: Rodney Elliott and wife, Joy, of Centerville, Pa., David Mock and Johnny Davis; sisters: Connie Davis, Ginny Simon and Pat Stump; seven grandchildren: Gabriel Perry, Kaden Perry, Megan Miller, Cameron Miller, Abigail Miller, Breanna Miller and Elliott Grace Lance; nephews: Matt Elliott and Tanner Calfee; niece, Brandi Munger and husband, Kevin; several other nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Pat Edwards of Cleveland; and sister-in-law, Nikki Calfee and husband, Donnie.

A memorial service celebrating her life and home going will be held at 6 p.m. today, June 3, 2010, at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Strickland officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 this evening at the funeral home.
