Gregg, Hall win at Lake Haven

The Tennessee Golf Association’s summer Junior Tour is in full swing with a stop Monday at Lake Haven Golf and Country Club in Decatur.

Eight Bradley County players participated in the event with Kassey Gregg and Rheagan Hall both bringing home first place awards.

Gregg topped the Girls 11-14 Tour Division with a nine-hole total of 60.

Haley Ellis brought home a fourth in the same division just three strokes back, while Olivia Lee and Katie Medley tied for sixth.

Hall, from Charleston, won a playoff with Savannah Satterfield of Chatsworth, Ga., for the top spot in the girls 8-11 Micro Division. Both had fired a 54, while Cleveland’s Olivia Williams claimed third with a 60.

On the boys’ side of the event, Gage Brakebill earned a second place finish in the 8-9 Micro with a total of 50, while Nicholas McCracken took fifth in the Boys 10-13 Tour class with a 52.
