Investigations launched into thefts, vandalisms

The following is a list of burglaries, thefts and vandalism reported in Cleveland and Bradley County. The investigation is continuing into each of these cases.

- Vandalism was reported Friday from a resident on the 2300 block of Varnell Road.

Reports indicated Barbara Gates told Bradley County Sheriff’s deputies an unknown subject cut a hole in the sliding glass door of her home. The damages were assessed at $50.

- A toolbox containing various tools, valued about $60, was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Durkee Road Friday. The alleged theft was reported by Charles Wooden.

- A 32-inch television was reported stolen from Turtle Creek Farm, located at 7115 Dalton Pike, Saturday. Reports indicated the TV was a Samsung LCD flat screen valued at $400.

- An automobile burglary was reported in Charleston Saturday. Reports indicated Seth Wilson told deputies an unknown suspect took $600, credit cards, a checkbook and a handbag from his vehicle.
