OUTSTANDING SENIORS — Polk County Education Foundation president Dr. Phyllis Miller recently presented two outstanding PCHS seniors with scholarships during Awards Day. Each $1,5000 scholarship is renewable for four years if students maintain eligibility. The Volunteer Energy Scholarship was presented to Tim Edgeman. The Herman and Lou Wright Scholarship, funded by Carolyn Wright Guerry and Matt Witt, was given to Lydia Richards. From left are Dr. Miller, Edgeman, Richards and Guerry.
