Waterdogs off to 2-0 start

The Mosby Park Waterdogs swim team has gotten off to a 2-0 record to begin their summer season, posting wins against Calhoun, Ga., (283-253) and the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club (439-248).

In Monday night’s meet against CGCC the top points for the Waterdogs went to Christian Torbett, Bristol Snider, John Bryant and Pete Davis with 19 points each.

Caleb Chastain, Tanya Sharma, and Julie Bryant boosted the final tally by contributing 17 points each. Adding 15 points each for the team were Anna Harvey, Paul Montgomery, Mark Moshenskiy and Madison Pruett.

Other high points team members were Eligio Urani (13 points), Alex Morrow (12), Alex Harvey (12), Bella Plate (12), Katie Estes (12), Meryn Evans (11), Ridge Asble (11), Kate Plate (10), Will Hilliker (10), Joshua Bates (10), Chelsea Montgomery (10) and B.J. Lineberry (10).

The Waterdogs Swim Team was established in 2004 and swims at the Mosby Park Pool. The team has a deep line up with over 125 swimmers for this season.

The Waterdogs will face Ooltewah Monday in their first away meet of the season.
