She was a lifelong resident of Georgetown. She loved her church and loved to sing in the choir at Burdette Baptist Church in Birchwood.
She was the most loving and precious wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and the rock of our family who will be missed each and every day.
She was a retired employee of Magic Chef with 18 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Campbell; and son, Wayne Lamar Campbell.
Survivors include her daughters: Kathy Rowland and her husband, Rusty, of Georgetown, Sally Hawkins and her husband, Rick, of Birchwood and Janet Wood and her husband, Gary, of Hixson; sons: Rick Campbell and his wife, Donna, of Georgetown and Ron Campbell and his wife, Bobbie, of Cleveland; sister, Hazel Rogers of Birchwood; and a special cousin, Heather Collins; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, w ho will sadly miss their Mamaw as she was the light of their lives.
The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Evans officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Johnson Cemetery in Georgetown.
Pallbearers will be Ron Campbell, Scott Campbell, Jeff Campbell, Gary Campbell, Timmy Campbell and Larry Collins.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of the service at 8 at the funeral home.
