Thefts, burglaries probed

The following is a list of thefts and burglaries reported in Bradley County according to records from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation into each of these cases is continuing. If you have any information pertaining to the cases, contact the BCSO at 728-7300.

• A tombstone was reported stolen from the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Monday.

Police reports indicated Misty Eaton reported the theft. The tombstone is 4-by-8 inches with the nickname “Gunky” printed on it. The tombstone was valued at $40.

• Electronics were reported stolen from a home on the 3800 block of Tunnel Hill Road Sunday.

Reports indicated Cynthia Firestone told deputies an unknown subject entered her house and took a Dell laptop and a Sony DVD player. The items were valued at $350.

• A wallet containing $600 and a paycheck were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of Hughes Lake Road Monday.

Reports indicated Lisa Mondon told deputies she left her wallet in the front passenger seat of her vehicle. Police reports indicated there was no signs of forced entry on the vehicle.

• A motorcycle tag was reported stolen Monday from the 6100 block of Spring Place Road. The tag number is 2ZL413.

• A Taurus .357 handgun was reported stolen from a residence on the 200 block of Waterville Drive Monday. The owner, Sandra Payne, valued the handgun at $230.
