A Cleveland man is currently being held without bond at the Bradley County Jail on charges of raping a 16-year-old.
According to police reports, Kipp Eugene Jenkins, 40, of 154 Woodgate Drive, was arrested Tuesday.
Court records filed at the Bradley County Judicial Complex indicated the juvenile reportedly told her mother the assault occurred at Jenkins’ residence. The mother then reported the incident to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
The alleged victim was taken to SkyRidge Medical Center where a forensic examination was conducted. Jenkins was interviewed by detectives with the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division.
Jenkins is scheduled to be arraigned in Sessions Court Tuesday.
The investigation is continuing.
