Miss Cross attended Ooltewah High School. She is a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
The future bridegroom is the brother of Joyce Hutson, Tommy Hutson, Virgil Hutson and Dorothy Hutson, all of Chattanooga, Wayne Hutson of Oklahoma and Gene Hutson of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. Hutson attended Chattanooga High School. He is a member of Summitt Baptist Church.
