James “Bud” Fain, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday evening, June 30, 2010, at the residence.

He was the son of the late John Fain and Emmer Plemons Fain. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Fain; daughter, Sharon Elaine Fain; and his brothers: William, Charles, Lee and Dean Fain.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Cleveland Baptist Temple.

Survivors include three sons: Allen Fain and his wife, Debbie, Gary Fain and his wife, Pam, and Daryl Fain, all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Cline of Cleveland; brothers: Lyndon Fain, Arlen Fain, and Lawrence Fain, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery in Englewood.

The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
