He was employed with Bowater for 18 years.
He attended Providence Baptist Church in Ooltewah. He was a member of the Gold Wing Riders Club in Cleveland. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Miles of Cleveland; mother, Shirley Jackson Miles of West Helena, Ark.; father and stepmother, Guy Miles and wife, Guylah, of Marianna, Ark..; children, who are all serving in the U.S. military: Robby Miles and wife, Keri, of Bossier City, La., Deana Miles of Dayton, Ohio, and Clinton Miles and wife, Terri, of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; grandchildren: Aubrie Miles, Andrew Miles, Kylee Miles, Makenna Miles and Nolan Miles; brother, Kurt Miles of Snow Hill; sisters: Jeannie Mahon of Colliersville, Kathy Ray of Wynne, Ark., Marsha McCurley of Pensacola, Fla., Christy Dunlap of Bebee, Ark., and Michelle Pearson of Clarendon, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Yancey officiating.
Interment will be held in Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Ark..
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
