Ashley Semak and Jeremy Curtis, both of Birmingham, Ala., will exchange wedding vows in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony on July 30 at Mickler’s Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

The forthcoming marriage is announced by the bride-elect’s parents, Jim and Melissa Price and Andy and Helen Semak, all of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Anna Dearth and Joe Semak, all of Cleveland, and the late Virginia Semak. She is the sister of Barry Semak, Sherri Roe and Deanna Bain, all of Cleveland, Clay Price of Chattanooga and Sandy Sheafer of Riceville.

Miss Semak is a graduate of Cleveland High School and Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology.

The future bridegroom is the son of Keith and Jennifer Burrell of Ooltewah and Mike and Susan Curtis of Perry, Ga. He is the grandson of Glenda O’Dell of Ooltewah, Monte and Tina Anderson of Red Bank and Ray and Evelyn Curtis of Harriman. He is the brother of Mike Curtis Jr. of Missouri.

Mr. Curtis is a graduate of Ooltewah High School and Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor of science degree in physics. He is in the graduate physics program at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he is also employed.
