TEEN CAMP — Wild About 4-H was the theme for Polk County’s 4-H Teen camp. The 4-H camping program was expanded to offer a camp designed for teens last year. Forty-four 4-H teens in grades seven through 12 from across the county enjoyed a camp full of exciting activities. The camp offered teens a view of the 4-H program for teens. Campers learned about outdoor grilling by chief Clyde Rush. Teens also learned about 4-H project competition and other teen activities such as 4-H All Stars and 4-H portfolios from the Eastern Region All Stars Council.
