The DQ Grill and Chill restaurant is scheduled to have its grand opening at 275 Paul Huff Parkway on Saturday.
“This is an exciting time for our business and for the residents of Cleveland as we reopen a family favorite dining destination,” said Stephanie Jensen. “Dairy Queen has always been about sharing smiles and stories with family and friends and pairing that experience with delicious menu offerings that our current and new customers will love.”
The Cleveland DQ Grill and Chill is being reopened by the Jensen family. Michael and Stephanie Jensen are excited to relocate to Cleveland from Nashville with their two boys, Matthew, 9, and Luke, 4.
The couple has more than 10 years of restaurant experience and look forward to serving the community for years to come. The re-opening of the Cleveland DQ has created 65 additional jobs and sales will affect the state's restaurant industry.
DQ Grill and Chill remains true to Dairy Queen's heritage by offering the largest variety of high quality, cravable, classic and innovative treats and food items made with a twist by blending the best of Dairy Queen's economic history with the most modern innovations in the quick-service restaurant industry. The food menu features GrillBurgers, as well as other delicious and unique food items, including Iron Grilled Sandwiches, Chicken Wraps and baskets. A mouth-watering grilled chicken sandwich; chicken quesadillas and crispy shrimp also are available for lunch and dinner.
Complimenting the Grill is the chill, with traditional and indulgent Dairy Queen soft-serve treats everybody knows and loves. Creamy DQ soft serve favorite include the signature Blizzard Flavor Treats, which are served upside down, peanut Buster parfaits, freshly baked waffle bowl sundaes and cones and dozens of other treats and beverages.
