Reba Riggs, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, in a local hospital.

She was of the Church of God faith.

She enjoyed traveling and fully enjoyed life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mae Caywood Messer; daughter, Janice Hampton; sister, Emma Dean Messer; and brothers: A.J. Gates, Huebert Messer and Elmer Messer.

Survivors include her daughters: Cathy Creasman and Sonia Brackin and husband, Terry, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Moores Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Marshall Roberson officiating.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fike Funeral Home prior to the service.
