Kami Corley of Cleveland became the bride of Jake Plemons of Charleston in an afternoon ceremony on June 27, 2010, on the banks of the Hiwassee River in Delano.

The bride is the daughter of Karen Corley and Bob Corley, both of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Edye and Michael Corley of Monticello, Fla., Jackie Corley of Cleveland and the late Frank and Sybil Long. She is the sister of Bobby Corley of Cleveland.

The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Chris Plemons of Charleston. He is the grandson of Dan and Nita Wilson of Athens, Rachel Plemons of Riceville and the late Warren Plemons. He is the brother of Will Plemons of Charleston.

Frank Evans, pastor of Freedom Fellowship, officiated the wedding.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Kayla Evans of Cleveland as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Lawson of Cleveland and Elise Boyd of Dalton, Ga.

Parker Beaty of Cleveland served the bridegroom as best man. The bridegroom’s brother Will Plemons of Charleston and Andrew Smith of Cleveland were groomsmen,

The reception was given by Debbie Davis.

After a wedding trip to Asheville, N.C., the couple is at home in Charleston.
