Donald E. “Spanky” Norman Jr., 53, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, July 2, 2010, at his residence.

He was a Chattanooga native, and the son of the late Jeanette Phelps Vincent and Donald E. Norman Sr., who survives.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Deane and husband, John Charles Gager, of Chattanooga; son, Steven Eugene Norman of Flint Stone, Ga.; father, Donald E. Norman Sr. and wife, Shirley, of Chattanooga; granddaughters: Trinity Renae Deane and Cyenna Faye Deane, both of Chattanooga and Caitlin Cross Norman of Morristown; sisters: Deanna Cross and husband, David, and Debbie Pruitt and husband, Keith, all of Old Fort; half sister, Sherry Norman of Chattanooga; half brother, John Norman of Old Fort; and several nieces and nephews.

Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
