He was a member of Ladd Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Montie Eugene O’Neal and Ora Mae Wilkins O’Neal; and one brother, George Elton O’Neal.
Survivors include his wife, Pat O’Neal; and son, Kevin O’Neal, both of Old Fort; daughters: Angela Lilley and her husband, Rayland, of Cleveland, and Janice Leins of Joplin, Mo.; brothers: Gene O’Neal and wife, Ruth, of Midlothian, Texas and Robert O’Neal and wife, Gloria, of Waxahachie, Texas; six sisters: Mary Posey of Mansfield, Texas, Faye Anderson and husband, Teddy, of Paris, Texas, June Dollison of Longview, Texas, Norma Jean McCurdy and husband Chuck, of Mansfield, Texas, and Myrtle Potts of Longview, and Connie Story and husband, Larry, of Mansfield; three grandchildren: Amy Rhea, Amber Lilley, and Conner Lilley; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Tunnell officiating.
Interment will be held privately.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
