He attended Cleveland High School (class of 1985), where he played offensive lineman in football and was a part of the 1983 football squad that went to the state championship.
He resided in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was employed by Ohio Eastern Express.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Melba Isom; and stepfather, Harvey Isom.
Survivors include his father, Paul (Mammie) Perkins Jr. of Cleveland; son, William Maurice McClellan of Cleveland; daughters: Debrahea Deshata Isom of Athens, Tichina Ann (Jarrett) Gibson of Cleveland and Contance Louise Isom of Cleveland; grandmother, Lena Bradford; brothers and sisters: Butch Isom of Cleveland, Ohio, Glenda Queener (Charles) of Chattanooga, Eustace (Dawn) Perkins, Daphne Perkins, and Tina Perkins, all of Cleveland; special nephews: Demond Queener and Brian Queener, both of Cleveland; granddaughter, Mia Anor Gibson; and several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Wildwood Church of God with Bishop Joe Bradford officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour before prior to the service at the church.
