CLEVELAND — Jennifer Solomon was recently named vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Appalachian Region, which encompasses nine skilled nursing facilities in the company’s Eastern Division.

“We are delighted to promote Jennifer Solomon to the regional vice president role,” said Chris Mitchell, vice president for Life Care’s Eastern Division. “She and her team in Greeneville have accomplished so much for our residents and families over the years. We are very proud of her and her team. I am excited about Jennifer taking her leadership skills to another level and having a much broader positive influence on even more residents, families and associates.”

“I like working for Life Care because of the continuity,” Solomon said. “It’s nice to know that with all the regulatory changes that come, what it all comes down to is that it’s about caring for our residents.”

Solomon was promoted to regional vice president from her position as executive director at Life Care Center of Greeneville, which she held for more than five years. Prior to that appointment, she was admissions and marketing director at the facility for eight years. She has 14 years of experience in long-term care.

In the community, Solomon is an active member of the Greene County Partnership, a graduate of the Greene County Leadership Program, a member of Kiwanis, a member of the Bradford Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association. Solomon will continue her community activities.

A Greeneville native, Solomon earned her master’s degree in counseling and her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She and her husband, Lance, have a daughter, 7-year-old Kaytelyn.
