Katrina Nicole Blackwell Cogdill, 25, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She lived her life for her three young sons, whom she loved very much. Her family called her “little bit” and to her Dad she was “wildflower.” She had a special love for animals and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her three sons: Dakota Keith Cogdill, Indey Nikka Cogdill and Sterling Silverlake Cogdill, all of Cleveland; father, Wayne Blackwell of Madisonville; mother and stepfather, Wanda and Don Goins of Cleveland; brother, Daniel Presley and his wife, Amanda, of Cleveland; maternal grandparents, Keith Sandlan and his wife, Gloria and Marie Sandlan, all of Cleveland; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Linda Blackwell of Benton and Frances and Mike Pinckard of Chattanooga; nephew, Jarren Presley; aunts and uncles: Dale and Diana Jobe, Brian and Shawna Sandlan, Wayne Sandlan, Valerie Sandlan, Shawn Sandlan, Steve Sandlan, Glen Blackwell, Lori and Kenny Key and Joyce; cousins: Kristy Jobe, Shayna Sandlan, Brittany Sandlan, Kevin Jobe, Brett Sandlan, Tommy Blackwell, Amanda Blackwell, Mikel Key, Janie and Grady Eady, Brysen Eady; and special friends: the Presley family from Pikeville.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug 20. 2010, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. David Byers and the Rev. Richard Chastain officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ronald Presley, Eddie Presley, Wayne McAmis, Daniel Presley, Glen Blackwell and Kenny Key serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at funeral home.
