Tommy Wayne Ellison, 54, of Ten Mile, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was a member of Machinist Union Local 1758. He retired from T.V.A. after 30 years service.

Survivors include his wife, Babette (Oliver) Ellison of Ten Mile; sons and daughter-in-law: Jeremy and Courtney Ellison of Ten Mile and Chett Hensley of Athens; daughters: Jennifer Ellison of Dayton and Chrissie Hensley of Ten Mile; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Rita Ellison of Ten Mile; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Donald Simmons of Ten Mile; five grandchildren: Kellan Ellison, Savannah Jett, Jerome Dyer, Abi Pendergrass and Alyssa Pendergrass; his honorable mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bonnie and Phillip Oliver; two brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Scott and Doris Oliver, Chad and Cyndi Oliver; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m., today , Sept. 2, 2010, in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Couch officiating.

Interment was in the Runyon Cemetery, Twin Eagle Farm, Ten Mile.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Norton, Mark Irwin, Norman Jolly, Andrew Ellison, Michael Ellison, David Ellison, (Allen Simmons).

Honorary Pallbearers: Arnold Roberts, Jerry Walden, Darrell Walden, Chris Walden, Adam Walden.
