Hylane Aldoria Constant Finley, 55, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
She graduated from Cleveland High School class of 1973.
While at Cleveland High she was a member of the cheerleading team and played clarinet in the band.
She was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, 151 Short St., Cleveland.
She was employed for more than 32 years and was on early retirement for the past seven years from Duracell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecile McCleary; stepfather, Willie J. Taylor; maternal grandmother, Eva Constant; paternal grandparents: Herbert (Shelly) “Poppa Shug” McCleary; uncles: Marshall and William Constant; aunts: Mary Constant, Mary Ruth Ladd, and Goldie Whaley.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Taylor; son, Tyson Constant; daughter, Juquita Constant; grandchildren: Taiya Constant and Tylayshia McGhee; adopted grandchildren: Carlazjion Constant and Ranasia Willis; siblings: Vanessa (Reggie) Howell, Shannon (Carlos) Jones, Alveraz (Loretta) Constant of Murfreesboro, Ryan Taylor and Kathy Kennedy, both of Cleveland, Pam McCleary of Athens, and Eugene McCleary of Murfreesboro; the devoted father of her children: Hugh Finley and Allen Sharp; aunts: Adella Jones, Lorraine Mastin; uncles: Robert and (Nancy) Constant and Gary Constant; and a host of nieces, nephew, and cousins.
The body may be viewed Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home, 265 Fair St., Cleveland.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service time at First Presbyterian Church, 433 North Ocoee St.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Rhonda S. Westfield will be the eulogist.
The service will conclude with a dove release.
