She was a member of Thompson Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from BellSouth and was a volunteer for Hospice of Bradley Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Will Parker and Maggie Parker Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert (Bob) Finnell; son, Mike Finnell; sisters: Vina Herron, Ann Parker Holder, Shirley Hollifield; brothers: Ed Parker and Jim Williams; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held today, Sept. 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Joe White officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
