A report filed by Bradley County deputy Andrew Coggin noted Lloyd Reavis as the complainant for Varnell Nursery.
Reavis said four checks had been cashed at the ABC Mart located on South Lee Highway.
All four checks displayed different signatures, according to Reavis’ statement.
The checks totaled $1,275 and had been cashed during August.
Investigation is continuing, according to the report.
- A stolen vehicle reported by the owner was quickly found by the deputy who filed a report for him.
Robert Higdon told deputy Dustin Patrick that someone had taken his 2000 Acura from his driveway.
As Patrick left Higdon after taking his information, he spotted the car in a ditch.
The steering column was damaged and a Kenwood Excelon radio was reported taken.
Criminal Investigator Laura Lane responded to the scene to collect evidence, according to the report.
Damage and loss were estimated at $1,000.
- A 20-foot extension ladder was taken from its storage area behind a home on Cabrera Lane.
Toby Ross said someone took the orange extension ladder on or around July 1.
In a report filed by deputy Travis Smith, Ross noticed the ladder missing during the weekend.
The value was placed at $200.
