Jackie Merritt from Small Business Administration will present “Financing the SBA Way” Tuesday, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Bradley Chamber of Commerce.

This is the last chance of the year to learn about available financing and the different types of SBA loans.

Ronnie Wade from BERO will make a presentation on Wednesday at Cleveland State Community College in the Technology Building Room T-115. Anyone not familiar with BERO will want to be in the audience.

BERO loans are only available to certain counties. Bradley, Polk, McMinn, Meigs and Monroe all qualify rates 2 percent under prime for loans up to $10,000. Some restrictions apply.

Also, Pathway Lending is administering a $50 million energy efficiency loan program to help Tennessee businesses reduce costs. These are below market rate loans aimed at reducing energy consumption thereby lowering costs and improving profits. The loans range from $20,000 to $1 million at 5 percent interest with terms extending to 10 years. The loans are available to any Tennessee business seeking to reduce energy consumption. There are eligibility requirements.
