Billy and Jeanette Brown, who married Sept. 12, 1960, are celebrating 50 years of marriage. They had a vow renewal ceremony with family and friends on July 10 at the home of Ricky and Sheila Gatlin, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. The Rev. Wendell Wooten, the bride’s nephew, officiated. The Browns have four children: Billy Brown Jr., Terri Smith, Gail Martin and Marc Brown; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
