FALL INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
The Cleveland State Baseball program will offer a five week fall instructional league for high school-aged players beginning running through Oct. 2. Players will have the opportunity to further develop baseball skills through instruction and games. DANETTE HENRY MEMORIAL
The third annual Danette Henry Memorial Golf Tournament will tee off Sept. 25 at Chatata Valley. Proceeds will go to benefit the Danette Henry Memorial Ovarian Cancer Fund and Memorial Health Care System Foundation. The cost for the 4-person, select shot even is $300 ($192 is tax deductible). BECKY SMITH MEMORIAL
The Becky Cooke Smith Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 27 at Cleveland Country Club. Proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Chattanooga, The Becky Cooke Smith Scholarship Fund at UTC and the Brenda Davis Foundation of Cleveland. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive for both men and women. There will also be hole in one competitions for a chance to win a Cadillac and $10,000. FCA CHALLENGE
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host the FCA Golf Challenge with Steve Sloan Oct. 25 at Cleveland Country Club. Recognition will be made for first-, second- and third-place teams. CLEVELAND TRYOUTS
Cleveland High School swimming tryouts will be held on Sept.13 at Raider Pool located at 350 Central Avenue behind the Teen Learning Center. Tryouts will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Physical examinations will be performed on site. The Cleveland Blue Raiders may have up to four boys and four girls from Bradley High School and four boys and four girls from Walker Valley High School compete on the team.
