Rob Whitacre of Red Boiling Springs will be the speaker.
“We invite Cleveland and all of Bradley County to join us and welcome Rob and his family to our area,” said Jeff Archey, East Side preacher. “Rob is one of our finest young, sound and solid gospel preachers in the churches of Christ with firm convictions and Christ-like compassion. All will benefit from our studies with him.”
Whitacre has preached in congregations of the churches of Christ in Kentucky and Tennessee and currently serves at the Willette Church of Christ in Red Boiling Springs.
He centers much of his work around local evangelistic campaigns and mission work in the countries of Jamaica and New Zealand. He has published two books, “The Old Testament Simplified” and “The New Testament Simplified.” He and his wife, Nicole, have two children, Hannah and Jared.
Meeting times are 9:30 a.m. for Sunday school, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the Sunday worship hours and Monday through Wednesday at 7 nightly.
There will be a fellowship meal after the Sunday morning service as well.
“If you have never attended a service of the Church of Christ, this would be a wonderful time to come and be our guest. We would be honored,” said Archey.
