Ann Myers Glasscock, 73, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at her home.
She was born on April 13, 1937, in Cleveland, and was the oldest daughter of the late J.L. Myers and Esther Pierce Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lynn Glasscock.
She grew up in Cleveland where she was member of North Cleveland Baptist Church and served as accompanist.
She graduated from Bradley Central High School, where she was the homecoming queen, in 1955.
She and her husband, Howard, were one of the original partners of the Fish Fry Restaurant that was in North Raleigh, N.C. during the early to late 1970s.
Survivors include her children: Jenny Jones and husband, Dicky, of Raleigh, Eddie Glasscock and wife, Kim, of Youngsville and Laura Hoover of Creedmoor; grandchildren: Jason, Lauren, Meagan, Lee and Kaitlyn; brother, John Myers of Cleveland; and sister, Becky Garrett of Murfreesboro.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest, N.C.
