Lee University students will talk about the upcoming Fort Hill Cemetery tour.
On Oct 17, Bryan Reed will be presenting some new findings about Fort Cass at the Charleston, Calhoun, Hiwassee Historical Society meeting.
The meeting is tentatively scheduled for 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Charleston on Cass Street.
The Fort Hill Cemetery tour will be Oct. 24. More details to come.
The Holiday Tour of Homes in Charleston is scheduled on the evening Nov. 14. The home tour will be preceded by a Civil War re-enactment at Blythe’s Ferry in the morning.
