The Zach Bowman scholarship winner for 2010 is Daniel Arms. Zach Bowman was a Lake Forest Middle School band student who lost his life in an ATV accident in spring 2007. Steve and Karen Bowman, Zach’s parents, established the scholarship in Zach’s memory, to fund the Bradley Central High Band fees for a deserving LFMS band student. The Bowmans felt this would be a good way to help promote participation in the high school band program. Daniel Arms, who is an important member of the marching band, is the third recipient of the award presented every spring.
