The 53rd Polk County Ramp Tramp Festival will be held April 27-30 at the Polk County 4-H Camp in Greasy Creek. A planning meeting for this event will take place Thursday at the Polk County 4-H Camp starting at 6 p.m. A covered dish meal is planned, followed by the planned session. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event or would like to learn more information about the festival, please plan to attend this meeting. For more information contact the Polk County U.T. Extension Office at 338-4503. Next year’s event will be one week later, (the fifth Saturday) due to the Easter holidays. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for the Ramp Tramp is encouraged to attend this planning meeting. Ramp Tramp volunteers clean the ramps during last year’s festival.
