Alice Stewart Kelley, 90, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021.
She was born in Jacksonville, Ala., and she lived in Michigan, Tennessee and most recently in Rossville, Ga.
Alice attended Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, Ala. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working crossword puzzles and making delicious, decorated cakes.
Alice, along with her husband, were very active in the Church of God, where they headed up numerous, successful fundraisers.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, H.F. Kelley; parents, Charles and Lela Stewart; brothers: John Stewart, Jim Stewart, Chloe Stewart and Opie Stewart; and sisters: Ollie Benefield, Nellie Cornutt, Edna Pate, and Ethel Knowles.
Survivors include her sons: David (Carolyn) Kelley, Charles Kelley, and Stephen Kelley; grandchildren: Jennifer (Ryan) Leonard, Heather (David) Gullige and Stephen Kelley Jr.; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral were held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel in Rossville, Ga.
Burial was at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
