Anna Sue Reed, 74, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021, at her home in McDonald.
She was born in Rhea County, but has spent the last 20 years in Cleveland. She dearly loved her family and friends, but her grandbabies were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Faye Reed; brothers: Bobby and Benny Reed; sister, Connie Reed; sons: Michael White and Teddy Reed; and nieces: Julie Wampler, Diane Bradwell and Jenny Boles.
She is survived by her sons: Roger Skipper and his companion, Shelia Roberts, Robert White and Pat White; siblings and in-laws: Eddie and Jackie Reed, Donna and Garland Smith, Leon and Charlene Reed, Dennis and Michelle Reed, Jenny and Greg Yeargan; sisters-in-law: Kay Reed and Brenda Reed; grandkids: Katanna White, Brandon Skipper, Seira White, Andrew Skipper, Leighann Skipper; great-grandkids: Kamden and Emmarie Brown, Elijah and Riley Skipper. Anna was known as “Granny Sue” to many more children.
A Remembrance Life service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with the Rev. Ray Cheatham officiating.
The interment will follow at Lee Cemetery, with Greg Yeargan, Michael Brown, Bucky May, Dennis Reed, Tom Pilgram and Bradley Reed serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends today, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
