Christine Buczkowski

Christine Buczkowski, 79, of Plainfield, Illinois, and formerly of Cleveland, and Lemont, Illinois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1943, in Cleveland, to Geraldine (née Bunch) and Clarence Dailey.

Christine was the beloved and devoted wife of Fred Buczkowski for 58 years. She was the loving mother of Michael (Becky) Buczkowski, Steve Buczkowski and Laura (Frank) Wallace. She was the proud gramma of Daniel, Marc, Michaela, Brenden and Ashley; great-gramma to Blake, Justin, Annabel, Patricia; and adored aunt of Tony Bush, Troy Dailey, Rusty Dailey and Aaron Dailey. Christine is also survived by brothers, Edward Dailey and Ronnie Dailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Clarence Dailey; brothers, Larry (Cathy) Dailey and Gary Dailey; brother-in-law, Frank (Mary) Buczkowski; grandchildren, Colin and Katie Wallace; and great-grandchild, Alex Buczkowski.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 15219 S. Joliet Road, Plainfield, Illinois.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
