Christopher Lovell Johnson, ‘Doughboy’


Christopher Lovell Johnson, “Doughboy,” 39, of Cleveland, departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ollie Mae Thompson; grandfather, Harding Warren Thompson; uncle, Joe Davis; aunt, Ollie B. Thompson; uncle, Harding Lee Thompson Sr.; and cousin, Jeffery Lee Cooper.

Left behind to cherish his memory, are his son, Lebron Sigler; daughter, Sky Johnson; sister, Angel Johnson; mother, Viola Johnson; aunts, Katherine Avery and Vivian Parks; cousin, Randy Cooper; nephews, Trevor Johnson, Travis Johnson and Ladarious Carter; great-niece, Aaliyah Johnson; and a host of friends and extended family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, with a eulogy and reflections from the family at 7:30 p.m.

“Son to Father” from Lebron: Although he wasn’t a perfect dad, the Lord knows and I know he loved me; I was not only made from him but I was made like him. I know that a person’s time always has to come, but yours came too soon. Rest easy, your son, Lebron.
