Posted
The Cleveland Amateur Radio Club will resume amateur radio license testing on Saturday, June 13.

Testing begins at 10 a.m. at the club’s headquarters at 560 Johnson Boulevard in Cleveland.  Social-distancing guidelines will be followed. Applicants are asked to arrive early to complete paperwork that is required by the underwriting organization, the American Radio Relay League.

The resumption of testing follows cancellation of sessions the past two months due to COVID-19.

License examinations are given on the second Saturday throughout the year excluding December.

Applicants for the Technician license should bring $15 cash and a photo ID to the test session. Current holders of an amateur radio license applying for an upgrade should bring a copy of their current license, a photo ID and $15 cash.

Pre-registration to attend the session is not required.
