Daisy Jane McMahon

Daisy Jane McMahon, 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, in a local healthcare facility.

She was the daughter of the late Jim and Pearlie Grant; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph McMahon; her sister, Mary Quarles; and brother, John H. Grant.

Daisy was a former employee with American Uniform Company for many years and was a faithful member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church and a powerful prayer warrior.

She is survived by her son, John D. Grant (Yang Sun); daughters, Cheryl Numan, Tina Sholey and Sonya Dermody; sister, Irene Banning; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022,  at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating.

The interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
