Daniel Wayne Dixon, 44, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022.
He was born on July 30, 1978, in Cleveland.
Daniel, also known as “Big D,” was an avid sports fan and loved cars, camping, fishing and being with his friends and family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Dixon; paternal grandmother, Jane Dixon; stepfather, Frank Dunn; and stepmother, Teres Nichols Dixon.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Bill Dixon and stepmother, Glenda; daughter, Destanee Dixon; brother, Adam Dixon (Ruby); sister, Amanda Dixon; niece, Kizziah Dixon; stepsisters: Tonya Woltz and Toni Crisp; stepbrother, D.J. Green; and numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest following the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery following his service.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and from noon until the 1 p.m. service time on Sunday.
