Darius Terrill Finnell

Darius Terrill Finnell, 52, of Nolensville, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022.

He was born on Aug. 16, 1969, in Cleveland, to Louis and Deloris Finnell.

Darius loved being out on the lake, in his Camaro ZL 1, traveling, watching his girls play sports and fixing anything and everything. He was “The Ultimate Handyman.” Above all, he loved being surrounded by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Deloris Finnell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 32 years, Melissa Finnell (Nolensville); daughters: Heather Buker and husband, Jacob, (Trego, Montana) and Holli Finnell (Nolensville); father, Louis Finnell (Cleveland); siblings: Cynthia and Terry Lewis (Cleveland), Oglevia and Robin Murphy (Cleveland), Marlon and Tammy Finnell (Belvidere); and mother and father-in-law, Connie and Jerry Mantooth.

Darius’ family received friends Tuesday at Woodbine Funeral Home-Waller Chapel,  7281 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135.

They will also receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7 p.m.
