David J. Potter

David J. Potter, 29, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his residence.

David was born in Powell, Wyoming, to Ronald Scott Potter and Billie Jo Thomas. David worked most of his life in construction and at the time of his passing, he served as supervisor for the Dilling Group. He loved cooking and putting on barbeques for friends and family. He was loved by many and will be missed. He enjoyed shooting pool, but most of all, he loved spending time with his daughter, Elizabeth Rose. David was a good man and a Christian.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Rose Potter of Chattanooga; father, Scott Potter (Cindy) of Muncie, Indiana; mother, Billie Jo Thomas (Eric) of Casper, Wyoming; sister, Jesse Macmillan; brother, Christopher Scott Potter; half-sister, Savana Turner; half-brother, Jordan Kraft; maternal grandfathers, David Shaw (Dixie), Danny Young; paternal grandfather, Richard A. Berry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Glenda Faye Young; his paternal grandmother, Valerie Berry; and his dog, "Cowboy."

The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Hibbard officiating.

Interment and additional services will be conducted later in Casper, Wyoming.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
