Elizabeth Dorene (Bunner) Daniel

Elizabeth Dorene (Bunner) Daniel, 88, passed away on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023.

She was born on Oct. 3, 1934, to the late Horace Bunner and Dorothy Bunner Cromer, in Muncie, Indiana. Elizabeth married Melvin Daniel on May 18, 1952. They retired to Holiday, Florida, and later to Cleveland.

Dorene enjoyed square dancing with Ed as a young couple, fishing, Euchre and bingo, vacations to the lakes and visiting her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Edward Daniel; and sister, Marilyn Sue Cook.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (David) Parks and Debbie Howard; grandchildren, Christy (Jamie) Bryson, Jonathan (Kelly) Parks and Jamie (Wesley) Sturgeon; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy Cromer Wood; three nieces; and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Habermas officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
