Isaiah Josiah Bowman, 3, was called home by God to be with his Angels on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022.
He was a very loving, sympathetic, empathetic young man at his young age. He brought light, love and laughter to anyone he met. Isaiah would like to cook and anytime he would go visit his gran–now-ma (Isaiah’s way of saying grandma) Alma, they would always cook together. He would ask about God at a very early age and he knew God from talking to his grandparents and parents. He is going to be deeply missed until we see him again one day.
He leaves behind his parents, Ashely Nicole McDaniel and Jasiah Latrell Bowman; grandparents, Jarvis Bowman and Mary White; great-grandparents, Wendall Ervin (Alma) of Athens, Alabama, Mary Woods of Chattanooga, and John Gordon (Carolyn) of Chattanooga; aunts, Jalice Bowman, Chalice Bowman of Castro Valley, California, Tori Bowman, Jerisha Bowman, Robert Mobley, Elijah White and Kaliah Bolden; a very special great-aunt, Kimberly Porter; and great-uncle, John Porter.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m. at Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow the service at Hammonds Cemetery in Athens.
