James Andrew ‘Andy’ Calfee

James Andrew “Andy” Calfee, 33, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022.

He served 16 years in the United States Army and the National Guard. After serving in the military, he was an EMT/firefighter in the Ooltewah/Collegedale area. In his youth, Andy attended Chilcutt United Methodist Church and Council Baptist Church. Andy was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Danielle Nicole Tomaszewski Calfee.

Survivors include his parents, Glenn and DeLonda Rives Calfee; uncles, V. David (Leesa) Calfee and Eldon Rives; aunts, Linda Calfee (Kevin) Baird and Melody Griffith; and cousins, Nicholas Calfee, Natalie Calfee (Clayton) Harris, Eloise James Harris, Michael (Val) Baird, Carter Levi Baird, Jared (Kayla) Baird, Cori Griffith, Colby Griffith, Ryan McCartt and David McCartt.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Peerless Road Church, with Pastor Keith Watson officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
