James Houston Knight

James Houston Knight, 62, of Knoxville and formerly of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Knight; stepfather, Sam Potts; nephew, Colby Stansberry; and father-in-law, Dominick Collura.

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Linda; son, Brandon Knight; daughter, Ashlie Knight; granddaughter, Phoenix “Doodles” Knight; mother, Dorothy Potts; sisters, Rhonda (Steve) Logsdon and Michelle (Terry) Stansberry; mother-in-law, Agnes Collura; and sister-in-law, Gwen (Rich) Tune.

James retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service with many distinguished and outstanding awards. He loved playing golf, boating and doing home projects, working in the yard and playing with his two fur babies, Charlie and Jake.

James will be honored in a private memorial service at his home for his family and close friends.
